And you don't call your self a Devotee. LOL I didn't even make Krishna a birthday cake. You sound more one than me and I do consider myself one. Im still Bhakti tho as Ive never had 1st initiation.

the thing is I still want to be in Maaya, I don´t want to get initiated. My love for Krishna is just that, but for beign a devotee I should do things much better than now. However I miss beign a devotee. The thing I miss the most is taking care of my parents Goura-Nitay deities. I miss them a lot...
I hope sometime I´ll be able to take care of them properly, until then they´re sleeping.

I have gopal Krishna here but I dont know how to care for him so hes never(whats the term,) Hes still just a figurine. I think you have to ask do something special with them to bring Krishna into them. I'm not sure.
I consider myself a devotee but have no plans in the foreseeable future to take a spiritual master.
I guess we are alike. Devotees but yet sorta not since we are not initiated.
My mother in law has a set of Nimai-Nitai deities too. Ill have to post a pick of them. Large 3ft tall ones, unusual in that they are carved wood. they live on a boat so they wanted them to be able to float if the boat sank.

From what I remember, a spiritual master has to "install" the deities in order to make them able to adore, but I don´t really know, maybe you could ask someone at the temple. What I do remember is that Nimai-Nitay deities are the best to keep when you´re having a busy life because they don´t accept offenses (this is that you can´t offend them,even if you do the worst thing to them).
Thanks a lot for showing them to me, maybe (if I find an old photo) I´ll upload a pic of ours so you can see them.

Shes a Zorse. American QH X burchelli's zebra.Shes me. Same hair color/eye color(mostly since I'm heterochromic, shes not) and I even have stripes in RL due to a past illness.
